Gund Recalls Baby Books

Comments Off

A choking hazard has prompted the voluntary recall of more than 15,000 Gund Baby Paperboard Books in the U.S. and Canada.

To date, there have been three reports of the book filling detaching and children putting the pieces in their mouth. No injuries have been reported.

The recall involves three mini children’s paperboard books with plastic handles that are designed as baby rattles. They include "Animals" (item number 059174), "Numbers" (item number 059175) and "Colors" (item number 059176). The books were also sold as a three-book set (item number 059173).

Consumers should take the recalled books away from young children and contact Gund for a free replacement at (800) 436-3726 or visit www.gund.com.
